our origins

Camp Mackall is an active U.S. Army training facility located 55 miles west of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and has served as the primary training grounds for future U.S. Army Special Forces soldiers (Green Berets) since 1953.

Special Forces candidates are trained and mentored by the most experienced and knowledgeable Green Berets in the force, and the skills learned and experience gained serve as a foundation for your time in the Special Forces.

CAMPMACKALL was formed with the same structure in mind. We connect post-9/11 military Veterans with business and community leaders who serve as a catalyst for what's next.

enlistment

We are currently accepting applications for our 2024-2025 class that will begin in Fall 2024.

Veterans who have honorably served in the military since 2001 and are currently attending a post-secondary educational institution in Champaign-Urbana are encouraged to apply for mentorships.
